Aramid development prospects
Since the beginning of the 21st century, China has included para-aramids and fibers as one of the key new materials for development in China, and the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have repeatedly included para-aramids in the list of key key new materials for development.

In 2006, China Chemical Fiber Industry Association listed aramid 1313 as a "green light" project and aramid 1414 fiber as a "double green light" project;
In July 2012, the State Council issued the "12th Five-Year Plan" national strategic emerging industries development plan, in the new materials industry, high-performance composite materials branch clearly proposed to actively carry out the development of aramid and its industrialization. In the 12th Five-Year Plan of New Materials, it is also clear that the bottleneck of industrialization of para-aramid (1414) will be broken through, and its application in honeycomb structure and insulating paper will be expanded;
In addition, in the Guidance Catalogue of Key Products and Services for Strategic Emerging Industries (2016 version) released by the Development and Reform Commission in 2017, aramid is once again included in the list of high-performance fibers and composite materials branch development;
In 2021, the outline of the fourteen five-year plan and 2035 visionary goals released by the State Council mentioned the need to strengthen the research and application of high-performance fibers such as carbon fiber, aramid and their composite materials, bio-based and biomedical materials.
